Gaurang is a designer based in Bangalore who owns multiple boutiques across Indian by the name of 'Vaya'. He strives to create outfits that glorify traditional Indian art with an amalgamation of contemporary motifs and textures that transforms each of his designs into an heirloom piece. All of his sarees are designed through Jamdani technique, a weaving art which is which has been discontinued and takes around 2 years to finish one outfit. But the end results are exquisite and Gaurang wants to boast this technique through his beautiful designs.

All the outfits designed by him explore the deep-rooted Indian culture that every bride wished to incorporate in her outfit on a special day like her wedding. Gaurang's outfits employ the embroidery work from yarns like Khadi, Tussar silks, Organza and many other fine materials so that he can deliver a work of art to his clients and helps in creating happiness as well as a dedicated niche for all these forgotten weaving techniques.

How they work
Gaurang's passion for reviving these weaving techniques has led him to work with more than 700 weavers who helps him creating beautiful masterpieces for each bride and serve as a momentum of our culture. A hand drew artwork design is kept under the warp in the loom and is replicated by the weaver to the finest details. He has also ventured in the world of fashion and displayed his collection during Lakme Fashion Week where it was widely appreciated and loved by everyone.
