Ghatkopar Cloth Stores is stratigically situated in the city of Mumbai, and just like its name indicates, it is located in Ghatkopar (W). It specializes in ethnic sarees that have a contemporary look to them. Its tailors believe that with the constant change in fashion and women's mind-set, they ought to adapt the traditional textiles to the à la mode concept.
It opened its doors in the year 1958 and hasn't looked back ever since. It was founded by Mr. Mukund Mehta who started this business offering high quality fabric and mill sarees. Over the time they understood what took to make silk sarees and they decided to go for cruelty free manufacture. In 2011, Ghatkopar Cloth Stores' sarees got PETA certified.
