After completing her graduation from The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai, Neelu Oberoi polished her expertise and experience by holding the position of Head of design, with numerous designers, like, Tarun Tahiliani, and Manish Malhotra. In 2009, she launched her own label, and made a mark in a number of renowned fashion shows , like, The Dubai fashion week, The Lakme India Fashion Week, The HDIL Couture Show, Hong Kong Fashion week, Wills Fashion week to name a few. In 2012, she also, launched Neelu Oberoi couture men's wear label. She has received several accolades, like, "The Best Costume Designer" for Miss India Worldwide 2000 and was the national finalist of "Designer of the Year" at the Femina Miss India 2000.
