Armed with a degree in Fashion Design from the Design & Arts College of NZ, and invaluable design industry experience as Creative Director at the New Zealand Wool Growers Marketing Ltd, having pioneered many fashion events in New Zealand, Pranay Baidya returned to his roots in Kolkata to launch the label, Pranay Baidya Atelier, in 2011. His handcrafted pieces, built on the vision fusing old with the new, blend tradition and innovation while deeply embodying the cultural values of this splendid nation.
