The worst nightmare of a Bride - A scammer

Priya Chopra is any bride's worst nightmare. I had booked her for my wedding on 30 November and 1 December 2019. The booking was done about 6-7 months in advance and the time was clearly conveyed and agreed upon with reminders before the wedding. While at the time of booking she made several promises about how she would give me skin care tips and will.coordinate for the look. However later she was almost unresponsive on WhatsApp. The least that you expect from a makeup artist who charges you a bomb amounting to 35k per event is to show up on time. I clearly told her I need to be there at the event by 7 pm but she only reached the venue at 7 pm. The scammer said the hairstylist would reach early and start the hairstyle as she had a family emergency, they only showed up at 6 pm with no hair extensions. She then started throwing tantrums as to how she won't start the makeup until we pay the complete amount.
I cried and begged how she shouldn't ruin a day for a bride but she wouldn't stop the harassment.
I request all the brides to be to please be aware of such people. I really hope and pray the word spreads because it's not a one off event, she is an absolute liar with an only intent to get more money from you.

Very unprofessional

We booked appointment with her in advance for my engagement and wedding. She called on the wedding day in the morning and changed the timings and expected us to adjust according to her schedule on the wedding day. She did not have any staff to tie the dupatta, there was nobody to help me change my nail paint. She knew that I was at her mercy and she took complete advantage of that fact. She asked for money upfront but service was not up to the mark at all. My nail paint did not get changed, dupatta was a mess, totally unprofessional.

Very talented artist

She has done a marvelous job in giving me the best makeup look that i had desired for my big day. She is indeed a very talented artist who knows her job well.

Money minded person with high price and zero quality

This lady took Rs 5000 from me for the booking that is scheduled in feb and isn't refunding even a single penny of my hard earned money when I honestly had to cancel her 2 months before the day. It was not an end moment cancellation. I asked her for at least some amount back but she is so arrogant and selfish that she wouldn't value basic ethics. All fake likes and followers on her page. I realized it later that she was fooling everyone.

Wouldn't recommend anyone to book her as she is only money minded and many other muas are charging much less than her and her makeup is not worth a penny and that's why I cancelled her and gave Rs 5000 (the booking amount) as alms to her. I don't understand how can such people digest others money without even servicing them. She should return the money if she gets the booking for the day I cancelled at least. but no, She would digest the money for which she hasn't even worked. There's a thing called 'fear of God and values'. I have seen many service providers refund at least some amount of money. but she is a non-cooperative and money minded person. No sensitivity left in such people.
