Reviews of Raghubhar Palace
rude and deceptive service for wedding ceremony
Delayed Breakfast: Breakfast before the vidai was scheduled for 8 am but was only provided at 9 am. When we inquired about the delay, the staff responded with a condescending tone, stating that breakfast wouldn’t be available before 9 am. When it finally arrived, only half of the promised items were available, and tea wasn't served until 10:30 am, causing embarrassment in front of our guests.
Phera Ceremony Refreshments: During the night phera ceremony, the staff was supposed to serve tea twice and coffee once to the seated guests. However, they failed to provide coffee, placed the tea station far away, and rudely told guests to walk and get their tea themselves.
Drinking Water: Getting water sent to the rooms was a constant struggle. At times it took 30 mins to get water delivered. Consider that our guests were suffering from thirst during July summer.
Room Availability: We were promised two complimentary rooms, but upon arrival, both were unavailable. After much argument, we were given only one of the promised rooms.
Missing Plates: During the busy Jaimaal ceremony, 45 plates went missing. Basically, they stole the plates.
Overall, our experience at Raguvar Palace was highly unsatisfactory and shameful. I strongly advise considering other venues to avoid the humiliation and feeling of being cheated by the staff.
