Our Real Wedding

To mention about our wedding, I would like to share a big instance. There was a tragedy at our wedding. Just when we reached the destination, we learned how our event guy conned us and never appeared for the wedding after taking 80% advance money. We somehow got hold of the decorator and our graphic designer who was suffering too as the event guy never paid them anything and they were the victims too. We paid double the money to the event decorator on the day of the wedding and managed it. But unfortunately, we didn’t have the artists and entertainment which we had booked for through the event company for each function. Plus it’s was a destination 50kms away from the main city. After planning our wedding for almost a year, no one ever imagined we would be conned for everything we planned. Not all wedding celebrations go on smoothly. It was the biggest nightmare for all of us when we realised our event manager was running a fake company. He even produced fake music and other licenses to the hotel. He showed us fake presentations which we fell for, claimed to have done fake weddings and later turned out to be a fake event company. After our wedding, we got to know the company has ruined three more weddings just before ours by conning them and running just before the day of the wedding - all cases in different cities. Now the company is under legal litigations after our wedding. Anyways despite all of these, just simple music, drum rolls, decor, and our loved one's gatherings and blessings, made our celebrations no less than what would have been with the artists and entertainment we booked from across the globe.
