Our Real Wedding

Shachi & Rikhil are film-makers, who met on a road trip to Scotland 7 years ago. Adventurous travellers, who then travelled to various destinations together and worked together, eventually fell in love. When they decided to get married, the affair had to something never done before. They did not want a traditional wedding and decided to re-live their trip along with their closest friends and family in the most scenic location in all of India - The Pangong Lake at Ladakh - a wedding has never been done before in this location - and they really wanted something that is special to them - they decided to exchange vows at 16,000Ft with their close friends and family in attendance.Both of them are avid-bikers and this was the best place for them. It was certainly like a Bollywood film, where the entire Baraat left from Leh to Pangong on bikes and the entire trip. The entire event was not only photographed and shot by us but also conceptualized and managed by A Knotty Tale. For the decor, we didn't want to pollute the place and environment and only used a local prayer flag with multiple colours to add to the natural looking venue.
