At the start of my experience, I heavily trusted the reviews and the main representative's customer service skills. While he did keep my involved in the process of making the item, the amount of attention paid to my order appeared to be limited based on the final product (I realize now that pictures can be deceiving). The packaging was also very poorly. The finishing was absolutely not up-to-par. Perhaps, this is a limit with the online platform but I truly trusted the spokesperson handling my order. Finally, when I received it and expressed extreme discontent, I was facing arguments and refusal for return. At the end, while I had requested to return or get some form of refund because I did not feel the products I got were my money's worth, I was offered a trade off where the material and stitching would be born by the company and I would have to pay for the shipping and embroidery—having lost such a large amount of money and gotten a poor quality of groom’s sherwani, I opted to not spend extra money. In addition, to a poor-quality sherwani, the free shoes (which were not requested at all) were poorly made—in this event, it would have been better to just not provide any shoes if you won’t pay attention to the finishing (I mean the foam heels were glued and the glue and the uneven cutting of the foam heels were very evident and the shoes were in a much bigger size), the brooch on the pagdi was broken and whoever packed it did not care to remove the brooch from the pagdi because it is obvious that it will shift during shipment), the stole was made of the cheapest quality material possible but charged a great lot. The only satisfactory component were the bottoms and mask in my order.

While the company has glowing reviews, I have opted to decide that perhaps I was just that one unfortunate order that did not work out the way I wanted. Perhaps, Nicky Prithyani clothier usually provides top notch quality but it is possible that this was an just an unfortunate incidence but I was really hurt because I paid for every extra detail as directed and ended up with a 0 for the groom's wedding sherwani. Overall, I would say if you do pursue this company and are shopping 100% online, ask about the richness of the fabric(s) being used, the weight of the sherwani, the double check the finishing of all items. This is important especially if you are not an expert in cloth and material because the company representative does not appear to understand that not all clients are experts in understanding material quality. In addition, I would also suggest doing some deep research about the overall pricing of custom-made sherwanis at other places and compare the offered price. Although you are told that everything is being done at a 10-15% margin profit for the owner, still double check with other companies. This was something I did too late and I suffered. It was a stressful and sad experience at the end because the groom’s sherwani is a vital component of the wedding and I hope you don’t have the same experience. Good luck!
