First of all "DONT HIRE THIS PHOTOGRAPHER"
I repeat , dont!
This guy showed us a very soothing and wonderful portfolio saying that he will be providing us the same or even much better output. He asked us to pay him 2.5 Lakhs inr in cash as 100% advance payment. He took the money 48days prior to our event. Not an issue.
1-
My wedding was a 2 day event , we had booked corinthiens pune , he asked us to give him atleast 45-60 mins separately for the couples shoot, we managed to take out full 60 mins each for both the days, all he gave us in return was "FOUR SIMPLE PHOTO STUDIO TYPE LOCAL RESIZED PICTURES" THATS ALL!

2-
He promised us that he will not be charging any single penny apart from the 100% advance amount he is taking from us, he got us a simple paper printout stating it as a receipt of 2.5lakhs. he told us that his data got corrupted and will have to recover all the cards from data recovery system in australia, stating the its lockdown here in india and he has no money to pay the recovery company , my husband this time paid him 45k via upi just to keep the track of transaction.

3-
Even after receiving 2.5lakhs and 45k which is almost 3lakhs now, all we have in hand is just those idiot 4 passport sized photographs in our hand. Nobody knows his office , has stated the fake address on the normal xerox printout of a so called receipt.

4- he never answers our calls , never responds to our messages. Its been 2 years for our wedding now, and he is ignoring all our emails, whatsapp, sms, and what not !

Loss of 3 lakh rs is not a big deal, but what the real loss is we lost our precious memories.
He never allowed us to hire a separate team from groom side saying that his team is super professional and doesnt share his creative space with other photographers.

Honestly speaking he is just a con man who knows how to use his words to impress the clients. But in the end , "YOU'LL END UP HAVING NOTHING AT ALL IN YOUR HAND APART FROM THE PEICE OF PAPER ON WHICH HE PRINTS "CONTRACT" .
Choose wisely !

Vinay is a mutual friend of a very good friend of mine. my friend suggested me of Vinay saying that he is one of best photographer in town.
now as my friend told me so much good stuff about him, i blindly trusted him and hired Vinay and his team.
he told me that he hires professionals from Mumbai for each project and pays them hefty amount for the quality content.
the professional team he got in my destination wedding, i will describe it below,
1- the candid photographer (Vinay himself) - he was so confused all the times , he just kept checking the settings of his camera and almost lost every perfect moment that he could have captured in that time. he has no idea of lighting i bet, since i am an wildlife photographer and i own the same camera as he does.
2- the cinematographer- i dont know where on the earth did i find vinay and his team to mess up my own wedding! this cinematographer guy named ranjit kept moving back and forth with the gimbal in his hand i dont know what was in his head but all he did in entire wedding was running back and forth almost for all 90% shots.
3- the traditional photo and video duo- guys i dont want to talk about them, one of them was literally sleeping while i took my phere (of course its a late night wedding but we have paid the amount for the same thing) his team was supposed to cover atleast the main rituals!

4- post production:- this is where this guy sucks at! no matter how hard they show they are working in your event , vinay sent me all the raw data in one of my hard drive, and asked me for the full remaining amount. which we sent him right away.

5-
what he delivered us is raw unedited copies of photographs, 60% of which are totally useless.
a traditional video in which there is no background music, just the plain rendered video stitched all together. when asked about what is the matter with the music, he said there must be some technical glitch due to which audio could not attached to the video. agreed, but then he never gave us the repaired video too.
album we got is of 38 pages, but the quality is so pathetic that even my parents 30 years old wedding album looks so perfect infront of it.
cinematic video is so pathetic i cant even share it on whatsapp or anywhere, no sync of music with the emotions. which editor in the world includes the song "in the end - linkin park" for showing bidai of a bride?
talking of professionalism, there is no professionalism in this whole team all the way from start to end.
he talked so sweet and sorted till we paid him the amount.
don't mess up your wedding memories guys! its not a game.

Vinay Panchang is a very unprofessional and rude person. Refused to provide a DVD of the wedding inspite of charging 1.5 lakhs for a day stating it was not in contract (some scribbling on a chit of paper). Very long processing times, it was a joke.
Please avoid in all circumstances!
