B-town's favourite couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding function was no less than a fairytale. The mehndi function on the 13th of April was total bliss! The mehndi ceremony was kept hush-hush from the media, but it started with family performances and endless delight! While the bride and groom looked ethereal during their mehndi ceremony, their 'Tera Hone Laga Hoon' moments grabbed the eyeballs with scintillating pictures!

Alia Bhatt took over Instagram and talked about her feelings, "The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life. There are days… and then there are days like these! 💕♾" What a legendary romance these two share!

Alia Bhatt was a charmer in a Manish Malhotra's fuchsia pink lehenga. She chose a sustainable customised trousseau where 180 textile patches came together to mark her momentous occasion, the most special one indeed. The lehenga topped with real gold zari and appliques levelled the beauty of her mehndi outfit. The lehenga also carries Banarasi brocades, jacquard, bandhani, and Kachha Resham knots. While Alia Bhatt gave princely vibes, Ranbir Kapoor looked classy in Sabyasachi’s Fuschia pink Kurta Pyjama capped with an elegant Nehru Jacket design.

After a train of the traditional royal red Indian weddings that the celebrities hosted in the past 2 years, Alia Bhatt’s wedding came in like a gust of fresh air. Their white wedding outfits and the minimalist day wedding sure worked the magic - a wedding that will be talked of for years to come.

Alia Bhatt took over Instagram and shared the news of her dreamy wedding and wrote, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia."

Alia looked nothing short of a princess, adorned in a Sabyasachi hand-dyed ivory organza sari embroidered with fine tile work and an embroidered hand weaved tissue veil.
