The couple has been going strong for a long time and tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony on the 19th of February 2022. After having a tight-knit wedding, Newlyweds Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar registered their marriage on the 21st of February 2022.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's pre-wedding nuptials were as beautiful as their wedding ceremony. The beginning of pre-wedding celebrations started with the Mehndi function. The ceremony took place at Farhan Akhtar’s seafront Bandra residence and was lit up with fairy lights and mellow decor. What's better than seeing your friends and family tap their feet on your wedding functions? Shibani's sisters and friends danced their hearts out on 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge's iconic song Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna. And with zero doubt, the video did rounds on social media. For the mehndi ceremony, the beautiful bride wore a yellow-mellow outfit and topped the definition of elegance.

How about having a farmhouse wedding topped with whimsical decor and lush surroundings? Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's wedding location is a proof of dreamy wedding! The couple had an intimate ceremony at Khandala at his dad Javed Akhtar and his wife Shabana Azmi's home, 'Sukoon'. The sukoon of having that someone special forever in your life is surreal. The cupids ditched the Maharashtrian wedding or a Nikah and instead exchanged vows of love with joy!

Talking about Farhan-Shibani's intimate wedding, a source informed India Today, "They wanted to keep it as basic and simple as possible. The guests have also been asked to wear easy colours like pastels and whites for the wedding. There won't be a nikah or a Marathi wedding. Instead, they have chosen to make it an intimate vow ceremony. Both have written down their vows which they will readout on the main wedding day, which is February 19."

The gorgeous bride Shibani Dandekar teamed up a red corset top with a stunning skirt. The lustrous gown from the house of Jade by Monica and Karishma is an absolute hit for day weddings!
