Gauahar Khan And Zaid Darbar Tied the Knot

Bigg Boss 7 winner, an ace actress Gauahar Khan tied the knot with Zaid Darbar, a famous social media influencer, in a ceremony. Yes, the much-awaited wedding finally happened and the entire fan following went gaga over it. The wedding and pre-wedding festivities went well with gaiety and fervor.  The duo looked completely stunning and as they dazzled in all their pre and wedding functions whilst adorning the best of the outfits. The wedding outfits were designed by famous designers like Manish Malhotra, Mayyur Girotra etc. Further, the wedding pictures and their groovy dance moves took social media by storm followed by the much-adored hashtag “Gaza.”

Earlier Gauahar announced her plans for a wedding on Instagram, she wrote, “The year 2020 has been anything but ordinary and our love story through it all has been nothing short of extraordinary! It gives us immense joy to announce that we are tying the knot and embarking on a journey of forever. Keeping the current scenario in mind, we will be celebrating the big day with our family in an intimate ceremony. We seek your blessings & love & are eternally grateful for the constant support & the outpour of warm wishes we have received. We hope for every soul to find its mate and pray for every heart to find its reason to beat. All our love, Gauahar and Zaid.”

Gauahar Khan had formerly shared an animated video on Instagram, which explained her love story with Zaid Dabar too. She shared that the two bounced into each other during the lockdown as they shopped for groceries and hit it off immediately. They started texting and their love dates encompassed long drives and calls. Gauahar’s and Zaid posted about their brewing love story through their Instagram handles.  Now let us delve into all their pre-wedding and wedding functions.

Chiksa Ceremony

The Chiksa ceremony was a touching affair as we saw that Gauahar’s mother getting overwhelmed and emotional on her daughter's first ceremony.   It was a beautiful and touching snippet as we all know that nothing can replace the love of a mother. Also, we saw snippets of dancing where the entire Familia was celebrating the rituals with dhol beats. The entire family looked in a cheerful mood. Gauhar looked beautiful in her yellow custom-made lehenga by Maayera Jaipur. She was wearing scintillating floral jewelry by Puneet Gupta invitations.  The fresh floral carnation jewelry combined with lovely baby breath flowers give a very real, dewy, and forestry look that elevated her bridal charm. Her elegant hairstyle by Ritika Hairstylist synched well with her elegant and serene charisma.  Further, she posted a happy picture on social media where she expressed her happiness through the caption, “When half of me met half of you and together the better halves shaped our beautiful moment.”  

Mehndi Raat & Sangeet Celebration

Gauahar’s mehndi night pictures articulated her happiness. In the pictures on social media, Gauahar is seen flaunting her Heena cladded hands. She looked simple as she wore minimal makeup and wore a yellow ensemble gifted to her by her brother Asad Khan four years ago!  Gauahar cherishing her mehndi moments wrote a caption, "Mehendi ki raat aayi!  Thanking my jaan, my brother @asaadzkhan for the lovely gift that I am wearing which was given to me 4 years back! You could not make it to the wedding, but the love surely did! It is so special to wear the blessings you have sent me on my big day."

Further, for mehndi raat we could also see the elegant duo were seen dressed in Mayyur Girotra’s collection, featuring traditional embroidery. Gauahar’s lehenga and short choli which was crafted by putting together an array of colors and using inlay of gotta,mirrors, and resham.

On Sangeet Night, the duo Gauahar and Zaid were both adorned in scintillating prêt by Rajdeep Ranawat. Gauahar donned a mustard blouse filled with mirror work and teamed up it with a brown skirt with a waistband.  Here she looked ecstatic with her confidante as she wrote, “Writing our love story on each other's hearts forever with the blessings of our family and friends and above all Allah." Isn’t their smile and caption saying it all?

The duo looked like a dreamy couple on Nikah day. Yes, the shades of ivory in the backdrop and setup gave a beautiful view too.  Gauahar Khan donned an ivory colored gharara by Pakistan’s fashion designer Saira Shakira. She looked dreamy and royal at the same time. The embossed knee-length kurti was heavily adorned with sequins work all over that meandered across the big borders. Gauahar teamed it with a flowy gharara and her bridal look with handcrafted impeccable maharani jewellery by Razwada Jewels.

Gauahar adorned pair of beige base juttis with dazzling use of jute, beads, and tassels from the footwear label Jutti Express. Zaid’s sherwani outfit on nikaah was also credited to the Pakistani fashion brand.

The wedding reception of Gauahar and Zaid was a lavish affair. It was attended by famous personas like filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, television actors Gautam Rode, Hussain Kuwajerwala, etc. She was cladded in bold gold and maroon Manish Malhotra lehenga for the reception whilst Zaid complemented her in a black and gold jaw-dropping sherwani put together with a matching stole.  Designer Manish Malhotra graced the event in a dapper black outfit. Bhansali joined the glitzy soiree and got clicked with the newlywed. Zaid’s father Ismail Darbar and his family blessed the newlyweds in a really sweet manner.  Actor Hussain Kuwajerwala and wife Tina were also twinning in black and were seen posing with the newlyweds.
